With its cool green space, this place becomes an ideal "healing" spot for those who want to find peace and participate in experiences immersed in nature.
More than 140km from Hoi An, Tak Po peak (also known as Tak Po, in Tra Tap commune, Nam Tra My district) is an emerging destination on the Quang Nam tourism map, impressing with its wild, green scenery and unique charm.
Compared to tourist destinations such as Hoi An and My Son Sanctuary, Tak Po Peak is still a strange name. However, some travel enthusiasts who have been here commented that this destination is suitable for those who want to “heal” and seek relaxation.
Tak Po Peak is located at the foot of Ngoc Linh mountain range.
Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Cuong (photographer from Hue) said that he was very impressed with the natural scenery in Tak Po, especially when he admired the sea of clouds the first time he set foot here.
"This is the most beautiful place I've ever been to hunt clouds," Mr. Cuong exclaimed.
Previously, the 9X photographer had experienced cloud hunting in Ta Xua (Ha Giang), Da Lat (Lam Dong), Quang Tri, Quang Ngai.
Noc Tak Po is an ideal place for cloud hunting in Quang Nam.
According to Mr. Cuong’s experience, to successfully hunt clouds at Tak Po peak, visitors should follow the weather forecast. If there is light rain in the afternoon, the next morning there will likely be a sea of clouds.
“You can visit and have fun at Tak Po peak during the day or set up a tent and camp overnight. I came here in the afternoon, stayed overnight and watched the clouds early the next morning,” he added.
The male tourist revealed that this camping site is still wild and not many people know about it, so he can comfortably enjoy the peace and privacy as well as admire the poetic beauty of the mountains and forests in Quang Nam.
However, because Tak Po peak is a new destination and tourism has not yet been developed, visitors here need to proactively prepare food and drinks to have an enjoyable and safe trip.
If staying overnight, visitors must bring a tent and other necessary personal items such as sleeping bags, flashlights, warm clothes, etc.
“There are no tourist services here, no accommodation or food stores, so people often set up tents and camp, eating and drinking on the lawn.
When visiting here, tourists should pay attention to keeping the environment clean, not littering or lighting fires on the grass, to avoid damaging the natural landscape," the young photographer added.
The road to Tak Po peak is convenient, motorbikes can reach there.
If you have the opportunity to come to Tak Po, in addition to camping and cloud hunting, visitors can combine exploring and learning about the lives and cultures of local ethnic groups such as Xo Dang, Ca Dong, etc.
