At the same time, the Department of Education and Training will also study and propose timely forms of rewards for teachers with good achievements in nurturing excellent students. Today, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also organized a city-level competition to select excellent students in cultural subjects and science subjects for grade 9, school year 2023-2024.
The Hanoi City Excellent Student Competition for Cultural and Science Subjects for Grade 9, 2023-2024 school year, attracted more than 3,500 students to register for the competition. These are excellent students, selected from tens of thousands of Grade 9 students from junior high schools and high schools with many levels in the city.
The city has 30 testing sites, located in 30 districts, towns and cities. Students register to take the exam in 13 subjects, including: Math, Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography, Information Technology, English, French, Japanese, Civics and Science.
In which, science includes knowledge and skills of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, with the general orientation of the exam being to require students to apply the knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems.
To ensure the accuracy, objectivity, fairness and authenticity of the exam results, the team of exam supervisors and teachers are rotated between districts, towns and cities.
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training has mobilized 1,055 officials, teachers and staff to work at this exam. Leaders of the exam sites all affirmed that preparations for facilities, human resources and necessary equipment were carried out carefully and comprehensively, ensuring that the exam takes place safely, seriously, accurately and fairly.
As planned, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training will announce the exam results before the 2024 Lunar New Year holiday.
