As the standing agency of the Steering Committee of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", in recent years, the Thanh Thuy District Fatherland Front Committee has proactively implemented many practical solutions, contributing to creating a widespread effect, raising awareness and forming habits for consumers in choosing and prioritizing using Vietnamese goods.

Vietnamese products sold at convenience stores in Thanh Thuy district are always the preferred choice of people.

Comrade Nguyen Van Thanh - Chairman of the Thanh Thuy District Fatherland Front Committee said: The campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the area has been spreading to social life, not only raising awareness but also creating changes in actions, forming the habit of buying Vietnamese goods of consumers, the quality is increasingly improved, the price is reasonable, attracting a large number of people to participate in shopping. The district Fatherland Front continues to coordinate with functional agencies to strengthen inspection and supervision, promptly detect counterfeit, fake and poor quality goods to take measures to handle violators.

Along with that, mobilize businesses and production facilities to research, grasp the market, create many suitable products to serve consumers, and coordinate with functional sectors and businesses inside and outside the area to regularly organize promotional sales, bring Vietnamese goods to the countryside to serve the people, especially OCOP certified agricultural products, contributing to the effective implementation of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"...

Since the beginning of 2024, the District Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations have coordinated to organize hundreds of conferences to promote the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" with thousands of participants; posted over 100 news and articles on the loudspeaker system of wards and communes, through social networking channels Zalo, Facebook...; Coordinated the organization of 40 booths displaying tourism products, OCOP, agricultural products, and typical cuisine of the district at Thanh Thuy Tourism Week - Autumn 2024. Thereby, helping cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees, union members, association members and people understand the purpose and meaning of the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", encouraging establishments and enterprises to produce many quality Vietnamese goods, meeting domestic and export needs, while combining propaganda to prevent and combat counterfeit and poor quality goods, promptly protecting the rights of producers and consumers.

The district has issued a plan to implement Directive 03-CT/TW, dated May 19, 2021 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership over the Campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods" in the new situation. Strengthen the application of information technology in all stages of the production and business process, especially online sales, developing e-commerce and modern e-commerce channels, harmoniously combining with traditional trade and distribution activities. Coordinate with functional units and authorities at the same level to promote information, propaganda, promotion and introduction of typical and advantageous products of the district and locality in many forms to introduce products of enterprises, cooperatives and craft villages.

Currently, in the district, there are 6 craft villages and 3 villages with occupations. All villages have applied science and technology to production, improving productivity and quality of goods, increasing consumption, supplying products to consumers inside and outside the district. In particular, coordinating the implementation of the "One Commune One Product" program, maintaining recognized OCOP products such as Bo village soy sauce, Matcha milk tea, Matcha Maik tea, freeze-dried Dinh Lang tea, Sencha green tea, Thanh Thuy forest honey, Anh Minh Cordyceps...

Up to now, the district has had 22 OCOP products with 3 stars or more, including 9 4-star products and 13 3-star products. In addition, maintaining Vietnamese sales points in Son Thuy commune, Tu Vu commune, Thanh Thuy town under the Domestic Market Development Project associated with the campaign; at supermarkets: Limina, Vien Hau, Hai Thao, Viet Mai, Huong Tuan and some other grocery stores, in which Vietnamese goods account for 90%.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations also encourage farmer members, youth union members, women's union members, etc. to participate in production labor, mobilize people to consume products produced by members; continue to build and expand effective models, create clean products, meet market requirements. Actively participate in displaying and introducing products in the exchange program, connecting supply and demand for consumption of OCOP products to promote product brands, typical agricultural products, regional specialties in the area organized by the Provincial Farmers' Association, Department of Industry and Trade and relevant agencies...
