Mekong Delta has a hospital that meets ACHSI international quality standards

On January 16, news from Hoan My Cuu Long General Hospital (a member of Hoan My Medical Group) said that the hospital has just been recognized as meeting international quality standards of the Australian Council on Health Care Standards International (ACHSI).

To meet these criteria, Hoan My Cuu Long General Hospital has undergone a comprehensive, large-scale assessment by professional assessors from the Australian Council for Healthcare Standards.

Ms. Huynh Bich Lien, General Director of Hoan My Medical Group, awarded the ACHSI certificate to Hoan My Cuu Long General Hospital.

Since January 2024, the hospital has developed an action plan to implement the ACHSI quality standards program. Based on the latest EQuIP7 standards set by ACHSI, the hospital has improved 165 processes, regulations, policies, and monitored compliance of all medical staff, applying international standards to clinical practice and hospital operations.

Dr. Nguyen Phi Hung, Medical Director of Hoan My Cuu Long General Hospital, said that every process, regulation, and policy is focused on the smallest details to create a safe and effective environment for patients when visiting and receiving treatment at Hoan My Cuu Long General Hospital. Each document must meet the highest requirements to be ready to meet ACHSI international standards.

ACHSI standards focus on the patient journey, operational processes, and people-centered systems and are now used in more than 20 countries around the world. The program also serves as a benchmark to recognize hospitals that demonstrate high-performing processes and a commitment to continuous improvement.
