HAGL gradually sinks deeper in V-League
On the afternoon of April 18 at Pleiku Stadium, HAGL Club had a disappointing match when they lost 0-1 to Ha Tinh Club in round 19 of the V-League. Notably, players from both teams committed 35 fouls in the match. This victory helped coach Nguyen Thanh Cong and his team quickly complete their relegation target to aim for a spot in the top 5. On the contrary, the second consecutive defeat of the mountain town team caused the joy after the victory over Binh Duong Club in round 17 to be replaced by relegation worries. HAGL temporarily dropped to 10th place out of 14 and the gap with the red light group has been significantly narrowed.

When HAGL's strength-based playing style no longer surprises opponents, the mountain town team will be in danger.
BINH DINH CLUB IS SINKING DEEP
At Lach Tray Stadium, Hai Phong FC had a convincing 2-0 victory in the "reverse final" against Binh Dinh FC, with 2 goals scored by Lucao and Huu Son. Three points against their direct competitor helped the port city team have 24 points, taking an important step forward in the relegation race. If they continue to maintain their current form and spirit, coach Chu Dinh Nghiem and his team can completely reach the safe finish line of 28 points in the next few rounds. On the contrary, this defeat caused Binh Dinh FC to stagnate in the second-to-last position with 16 points.
Also in round 19, at Hang Day Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City FC played a resilient match against the stars of Hanoi Police Club (CAHN). They even had the chance to take all 3 points when the home team received 2 red cards in the second half, and if Ngoc Long's shot in the 90th minute had not been brilliantly blocked by Nguyen Filip. In any case, the 0-0 draw also brought a positive signal. Coach Phung Thanh Phuong and his team can be satisfied with having 2 points against very strong opponents in the North. With 22 points, Ho Chi Minh City FC confidently returned to Thong Nhat Stadium to welcome Ha Tinh FC in the next round. Meanwhile, CAHN FC once again only had themselves to blame, showing signs of running out of steam in the championship race.
CAN HANOI CLUB BLOCK TIEN LINH ?
At 6pm today, April 19, round 19 will continue with a very interesting match between the two most successful teams in V-League history, Binh Duong Club and Hanoi Club. The disappointment of the two teams after 2 draws against weaker opponents before will further fuel the fighting spirit. The match will also be an interesting competition between the second best defense led by Duy Manh - Thanh Chung and Tien Linh, the number 1 striker in V-League this season. The good news for Binh Duong Club is that some minor injuries of Minh Trong or Viet Cuong have recovered and are ready for this match.

The remaining match at 6pm is also very exciting, when Thanh Hoa Club of coach Tomislav Steinbruckner will face The Cong Viettel. The home team Thanh Hoa really needs a win to create a boost for the new dynasty, but the away team is a very difficult team, playing well under the hands of coach Nguyen Duc Thang. The army team is playing inspirational football with the talented young duo Van Khang (4 goals) - Huu Thang (3 goals), besides the duo Pedro - Amarildo together with 9 goals. If they win, The Cong Viettel will secure a position in the top 3, before accelerating to compete for the championship in the last 7 rounds. The home team is facing difficulties when the main force in the midfield is still missing - midfielder Doan Ngoc Tan - he "sighed" because he is still treating an injury.
