Provincial National Assembly delegates meet voters in Muong Nhe district

Dien Bien TV - On the morning of April 17, the National Assembly delegation of the province, including delegate Lo Thi Luyen, Deputy Head of the Specialized Delegation, in charge of the National Assembly delegation of the province; Major General Trang A Tua, Director of the Department of Building the Movement to Protect National Security, Ministry of Public Security, met with voters of Muong Nhe district before the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly and surveyed the implementation of 3 national target programs in the district. Attending the meeting with voters was comrade Giang Thi Hoa, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

The provincial National Assembly delegation has informed voters of the expected content and program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, which is expected to open on May 5 and close on June 28.

At the meeting, voters of Muong Nhe district proposed: Consider support methods for 18 households in Muong Nhe 1 village, Muong Nhe commune who currently do not have land for production to stabilize; pay attention to arranging investment funds to build Nam Xa lake to ensure water sources for production of people in Muong Toong commune; reorganize communes in the district, especially for 6 border communes; propose to increase staffing and have special mechanisms for remote communes of the district; allocate funds for Leng Su Sin commune to pay for the regime for non-professional cadres in the villages in 2024.

Regarding the implementation of national target programs: Muong Nhe district recommends that competent authorities study and consider specific mechanisms and policies for communes in region III. After being recognized as meeting new rural standards, they will continue to enjoy the same regimes and policies as communes in region III for at least 3-5 years to ensure social security.

It is recommended that the Government consider lowering some indicators in the criteria content to ensure suitability for mountainous areas, specifically: The rate of households using clean water according to criterion No. 17 on environment and food safety applied to communes in region III, the Northern midland and mountainous region is greater than or equal to 20%, reduced to 10% to apply to communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas...
