Speed up the progress of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Tuyen Hoa

In about 7 days, the new house of Mr. Duong Hong Linh, Kim Lich village, Kim Hoa commune (Tuyen Hoa) will be completed. The solid house is built from reinforced concrete and tiled roof with an area of over ^60m2 with full living functions. Having this house is something that Mr. Linh never thought of, because his family's conditions are very difficult.

Mr. Duong Hong Linh excitedly said: “With the care and support of the Party, the State and the Police force, my family has had the opportunity to live in a new, spacious, clean and beautiful house, something that my family never thought of. This is a condition for us to make more efforts in life, to rise out of poverty.”

Kim Hoa Commune is a locality with 14 houses renovated and newly built under the policy of XNT, NDN that Tuyen Hoa district has reviewed and arranged funding sources. Most of the households supported for XNT, NDN are in very difficult circumstances, so during the construction process, in addition to family, relatives, and neighbors, officers and soldiers of the Commune Police are always on duty, accompanying and supporting to be ready to help the family to ensure the construction progress.

Kim Hoa Commune Party Secretary Hoang Minh Phuong said: “The local Party Committee and government have mobilized support from locally available materials, such as construction stone, sand, etc.; at the same time, social organizations have been mobilized to support families with labor days, reducing some of the people's expenses. Currently, the whole commune has completed 7/14 houses and the remaining houses are speeding up construction progress, expected to be completed in May 2025.”

On the side of the Steering Committee for the Construction and Renovation of the Tuyen Hoa area of the Provincial Police, in order to speed up the repair and construction progress, the leaders of the Provincial Police directly visited each household to survey, encourage and find solutions to support and remove difficulties, so that the new houses can be completed and put into use soon. Specific tasks, such as: Installing and connecting the lighting and electricity systems; supporting households with essential household items; meaningful gifts to give when inaugurating new houses... were also taken care of so that after repairing and building the houses, people can move in immediately.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thanh Tam, Head of the Political Affairs Department, Provincial Police, through the mobilization and appeal to benefactors, the Provincial Police have presented 500 million VND and 150 tons of cement to the Steering Committee for the Construction of New Rural Areas and Rural Areas in Tuyen Hoa District. In addition, officers and soldiers of the Police in communes, wards and towns across the province have promoted their roles and responsibilities, joining hands to respond to the emulation movement for the Construction of New Rural Areas and Rural Areas with 246 working days.

Up to now, out of a total of 229 cases of request for XNT and NDN of Tuyen Hoa district, 191 houses have started construction and repair, of which 42 houses have been completed. Determining that each completed house brings joy and happiness, helping people overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives, the Provincial Police are continuing to mobilize the contributions of human resources and assets of officers, soldiers and benefactors to continue to support the best conditions for the people, determined to work with the Tuyen Hoa district government to urgently start construction, build new houses and repair houses, striving to complete XNT and NDN before June 30, 2025.
