The Ministry of Transport has just issued a document responding to the petition of Dong Nai province voters sent before the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly regarding the construction progress of the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong Expressway.
Accordingly, voters in Dong Nai province are very interested in the progress of the construction of the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong Expressway to ensure good service for the travel needs of people and businesses. Voters asked the Ministry of Transport to provide information on the project's progress.
Responding to this content, the Ministry of Transport said that according to the planning, the Dau Giay (Dong Nai) - Lien Khuong (Lam Dong) expressway has a scale of 4 lanes, a total length of about 220km, including 4 sections: Dau Giay - Tan Phu 60km long, Tan Phu - Bao Loc 67km long, Bao Loc - Lien Khuong 74km long, Lien Khuong - Prenn 19km long.
Up to now, the Lien Khuong - Prenn section has been put into operation; the remaining 3 sections have been approved for investment by competent authorities.
The Dau Giay - Tan Phu section has had its project approved and is currently selecting investors. It is expected to be basically completed in 2026 and put into operation from 2027.
The Tan Phu - Bao Loc and Bao Loc - Lien Khuong sections are having their feasibility study reports appraised by authorities, serving as a basis for project approval and implementation of the next steps.
“In the coming time, the Ministry will continue to closely coordinate with the People's Committees of Dong Nai and Lam Dong provinces and relevant agencies to speed up procedures in accordance with legal regulations to start construction of the Dau Giay - Lien Khuong expressway, soon complete and put into operation, serving the travel needs of people and businesses,” the Ministry of Transport informed.
