The entrance exam for grade 10 at Hanoi National University of Education High School for the Gifted took place all day on June 1. After the Literature and Math exams in the morning, students took the specialized subject exam at 1:45 p.m., with a duration of 120 minutes.
The admission score is the total score of three subjects, in which the specialized subject is multiplied by a coefficient of two. The University of Education High School for the Gifted does not add priority points to all candidates.
With about 6,100 candidates participating, the entrance exam for grade 10 at the National University of Education High School for the Gifted has the largest number of candidates since 2018. The English specialized class has the most registered candidates - 2,049. With a quota of 70, the competition ratio of this class is 1/29.3, meaning that for every 30 candidates, only one is admitted.
Next is the competition ratio for the Literature specialized class at 1/28.5. The school recruited 35 students but received 998 applications. The other specialized classes have competition ratios ranging from 1/10.2 to 1/19.8, with the lowest being the Biology specialized class.
