'Peach, Pho and Piano': Audiences who want to watch must go to the theater to book tickets for the next day

In recent days, "Peach, Pho and Piano" has become a phenomenon in the Vietnamese cinema market. It is only shown at the National Cinema Center, so when it becomes a "fever", it is very difficult for audiences to buy tickets to see the movie.

Since February 18, the National Cinema Center's ticket booking system has been paralyzed due to the large number of visitors, so audiences cannot buy tickets online and must go directly to the theater to queue up to buy movie tickets.

Realizing the increasing demand for the movie "Peach, Pho and Piano", the National Cinema Center has increased the number of screenings and extended the screening time.

According to records, on February 20, the movie "Dao, Pho and Piano" had 18 screenings, but by 1:00 p.m. the same day, there were only 3 screenings left, falling into the time slots: 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., and 4:20 p.m., the other screenings were all "sold out".

At this time, the only seats left in the "edge" positions are empty, most of the VIP seats with good positions have been sold out.

The notice board of the National Cinema Center also clearly stated: "Tickets for the movie 'Dao, Pho and Piano' on February 20 are sold out. On February 21, there are still tickets for the daytime shows, the 7:40 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. shows are sold out". Audience member Bui Huong Quynh shared: "I booked tickets on the apps and on the website of the National Cinema Center" but it was not successful.

After 1pm on February 20, audiences who want to see "Peach, Pho and Piano" can only buy tickets for the next day in advance or accept sitting "on the sidelines" when watching the 4pm and 4:20pm screenings on February 20. Ms. Hien, a young audience member, said: "The website of the National Cinema Center crashed so we couldn't buy tickets online. There are people who have been waiting since 12am last night and still haven't been able to buy tickets. We are currently here waiting to buy tickets but the line is very long, we don't know if we can buy tickets or not."

The number of audiences flocking to the National Cinema Center even during business hours, on a midweek day like now, is considered a "record" number for this cinema. The 2pm show of "Peach, Pho and Piano" also sold out very quickly, even the "outer" seats were full.

Many viewers said they learned about "Peach, Pho and Piano" through reviews on social networks, so they decided to "hunt" for tickets to watch it. After each screening, the audience had positive feedback about the film. Ms. Hai Xuan commented: "This is a film with good staging and an invested setting. The film helps young audiences understand the history and value of peace". Meanwhile, an audience member named Lien was impressed with the theme of love mentioned in "Peach, Pho and Piano": "The film has an objective perspective on love. In the film, there is love between couples, love for the country, love for people. The film is very special, I still feel moved after watching it, I think everyone should watch this film".

According to Box Office Vietnam, the revenue of "Peach, Pho and Piano" as of the morning of February 20 is more than 505 million VND. With this figure, the movie "Peach, Pho and Piano" is the 3rd highest-grossing Vietnamese movie at this time, only behind the movie "Mai" by Tran Thanh and "Gap lai chi bau" by the couple Anh Tu - Dieu Nhi.
