On the afternoon of October 21, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security, Head of the Working Group implementing Project No. 06 of the Government chaired a conference to evaluate the progress and results of implementing the tasks of Project 06 and Resolution 175 of the Government in September 2024.
At Dak Nong bridge, comrade Le Van Chien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the conference.
Reporting at the conference, the representative of the Government's Project 06 Working Group said that at the Working Group's September 2024 meeting, the Working Group Leader concluded and directed 4 groups of issues and urged 48 specific tasks.
During the month, 8 tasks were completed, notably: The Ministry of Justice coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to issue Procedure No. 570 guiding the issuance of criminal records on VNeID; The Ministry of Information and Communications issued Decision 1729, amending the e-Government Architecture Framework 3.0 to consider adding a data sharing and coordination platform of the National Data Center...
Currently, Project 06 still has 38 tasks that are behind schedule, have not changed, and are at risk of affecting the project implementation roadmap.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Justice, there are 10 localities (Quang Nam, Dong Nai, Thanh Hoa, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Nguyen, Ninh Thuan, Binh Phuoc, Kien Giang) where the progress of digitizing civil status data is still slow, with the risk of not ensuring the completion schedule in 2024.
At the conference, leaders of provinces and cities raised difficulties and problems and requested the Government's Project 06 Working Group to resolve them in order to complete the tasks in 2024.
Concluding the conference, General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, highly appreciated the ministries, branches and localities' determination to resolutely implement the tasks of Project 06 of the Government.
For ministries, branches and localities that encounter problems and limitations during the implementation process, it is necessary to clarify the responsibilities of each specific individual in order to find solutions to overcome existing difficulties, aiming to more effectively implement the tasks and objectives of the project.
The Minister of Public Security hopes that ministries, branches and localities will complete institutions, guidelines and policies to ensure synchronous and smooth implementation of data, so that the national digital transformation is smooth, bringing high consensus among the people, creating great momentum for national development in the digital age.
