DTO - In fact, any profession that contributes to society is respected by people. However, a profession that is compared to a "mother" is very rare. Physicians are one of those few - "a good doctor is like a mother".
Medical professionals in their pure white coats are honored by society because they embody the purest and most noble qualities. Being aware of being respectable and being respected is a necessary issue not only for those in this profession.

Medicine is an applied science related to the diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and prevention of diseases. It uses health care methods to maintain and restore health through disease prevention and treatment. Broadly speaking, medical activities are related to the entire human life from the time of "incubating" life to the time of returning to the ancestors. Therefore, each person has a certain connection to the medical profession. When someone has abnormal signs of health, they need to see a doctor to receive friendly advice. For those who encounter external factors on health, the doctor is a benefactor. A person close to the "sword of death", the doctor is "Buddha". Although focusing on treating physical wounds, it is also a heart-felt concern. In the letter sent to the Conference of Medical Staff in early 1955, President Ho Chi Minh noted the mission of the Industry and the duty of the medical staff: It is a glorious mission. Therefore, medical staff must love and care for patients like their own brothers and sisters, seeing their pain as their own. “A good doctor must be like a mother.”
To enter the profession and gain a solid position, those in the profession must undergo a certain period of training. And to have high skills, they must spend many years studying, researching and practicing. Here, in addition to "practicing skills", medical practitioners must cultivate and cultivate medical ethics. When they "cultivate" to the level of having enough factors of high "skills" and honesty, they are recognized to practice freely. Treating and saving people is the ultimate goal of medical practitioners. At any time when patients need them, they are on standby like soldiers. That is also why most medical activities are free of charge, belonging to public services. Of course, collecting reasonable fees is necessary to invest in or upgrade infrastructure, equipment, services, labor, etc. The modernization of the profession is also to serve the people better and better. The profession and medical practitioners are very respectable.
The Vietnamese people are altruistic and clearly distinguish right from wrong. They clearly recognize that the majority of doctors uphold the ethics and traditions of the medical profession. The people's belief in the purity and nobility of doctors is very strong. More than ever, the medical team needs to fully recognize their position and role in society to elevate themselves. Cultivate medical ethics, improve skills and expertise in the information technology era, especially using AI (Artificial Intelligence) to keep up with modern medicine in advanced countries so that "no one is left behind" in medical treatment and in the near future, no one will have to "seek treatment" abroad.
With the miraculous advances of science and technology, the full and abundant life facilities, mankind will have better health care conditions. However, people in general, and patients in particular, still need doctors. Among them, the disabled, patients and their relatives are waiting for the love and responsibility of doctors. The expectation and honor of society will be a strong driving force for those in the profession to overcome difficulties, obstacles and temptations, and elevate themselves to the height of "Motherhood".
