A year with many challenges, but with the high determination of the entire political system, Dak Glong is gradually reaping impressive results.
The year 2024 marks great strides in Dak Glong's agricultural development, affirming the pivotal role of this industry in the district's economy.
In the district, many value chain linkage models have been formed, linking production with product consumption. In addition, high-tech agricultural projects have also been strongly developed, contributing to raising awareness and the role of restructuring the agricultural sector.
Up to now, the development of high-tech agriculture in the area has achieved many impressive results. Of which, the area of industrial crops and fruit trees applying high-tech agricultural production has reached about 1,400 hectares.
Typically, Thinh Phat Agricultural Cooperative, Quang Son commune achieved VietGAP certification for crops such as: Cabbage: 43 hectares, radish: 60 hectares; 4C coffee certification: 158 hectares.
The cooperative's products are currently supplied to Korean partners. The strong development model has quickly brought high economic value to local agricultural products.
Similarly, Dak Ha High-Tech Cooperative, Dak Ha Commune is also growing crops according to VietGAP certification. These include: 100ha of sweet potatoes; 20ha of susu; 20ha of okra; 20ha of Japanese eggplant; 4,000m2 of greenhouse for growing bell peppers. Or Nam Long Cooperative, Dak Ha Commune is also producing pepper in a sustainable way for 154.9ha.
There has been clear progress in supporting policies and training programs for quality livestock in the area. More and more households and farms are investing in concentrated, medium and large-scale livestock farming, combined with high-tech applications.

The district has focused on integrating support capital sources and guiding production facilities to participate in the OCOP program. To date, the district has 7 products that have achieved OCOP certification and 9 products are in the process of being appraised and evaluated to classify OCCOP products at the district level in 2024.
During the year, Dak Glong has implemented synchronous measures to manage budget revenue. At the same time, it has strengthened strict control over revenue sources, prevented revenue loss, and promoted administrative procedure reform, creating favorable conditions for taxpayers.
Localities promote guidance and support for taxpayers, strengthen management, limit tax arrears, contribute to creating an equal production and business environment and exploit additional revenue sources for the budget.
Notably, the district has implemented various forms of tax policy propaganda such as: on the Tax Department's website, the Tax Department's youtube, the Regional Tax Department's zalo, answering by phone, email, organizing online conferences to support and answer policies for taxpayers...
The district focuses on disseminating and instructing taxpayers to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers. At the same time, it instructs households and business individuals to install Etax mobile and publicly announces organizations and individuals with tax debts on the media.
The total state budget revenue of Dak Glong district in 2024 is estimated at more than 219 billion VND, reaching 109.52% of the estimate. Of which, the tax portion managed and collected by the District People's Committee in the year is estimated to be more than 71.7 billion VND, reaching 102.24% of the estimate.
The state-owned enterprise sector managed by the central government is estimated to have achieved 116.6 billion VND, reaching 112.16% of the assigned estimate; revenue from state-owned enterprises managed by localities is 729 million VND, reaching 69.45% of the assigned estimate; revenue from the non-state economic sector is 38.7 billion VND, reaching 136.63% of the estimate.
In addition, the district collected more than 14.2 billion VND in personal income tax; 13.1 billion VND in registration fees; more than 3 billion VND in fees; 11.5 billion VND in land use fees; 15.1 billion VND in mineral exploitation rights fees; and 4.7 billion VND in other budget revenues.
The district has promoted solutions to conduct pre- and post-tax refund inspections, promptly detecting and strictly handling fraudulent acts, taking advantage of tax refund policies, and appropriating tax money from the State budget.
Dak Glong has also reviewed and specifically identified the subjects that are being allocated land or leased land by the state in the area, especially projects that have expired their preferential treatment or cases where the project is not implemented...
The district has strengthened the work of checking, reviewing, and determining the outstanding tax amount of each tax debtor. From there, classifying according to tax debt status and debt causes, to urge and have tax enforcement measures, and organizing debt collection enforcement according to regulations.
The total tax debt in Dak Glong district is estimated to be more than 8.2 billion VND by December 31, 2024, a decrease of more than 2.6 billion VND, equivalent to a decrease of 24.3% compared to the tax debt as of December 31, 2023. Of which, the tax debt up to 90 days and over 90 days is more than 7.7 billion VND; the tax debt that cannot be collected is 504 million VND.
In particular, debt collection and enforcement measures against tax debts have been implemented. As a result, the debt has decreased compared to the beginning of the year and the same period last year.
Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the Dak Glong District People's Committee Tran Nam Thuan said: "2025 is the last year of the State budget stabilization period of 2022-2025. Therefore, the district will continue to well implement tax laws and collection tasks for the coming year, with the determination to achieve and complete the assigned budget revenue estimate".
