Dak Glong strives to complete targets in 2024

On the afternoon of November 7, Dak Glong District People's Committee held a regular meeting to evaluate the implementation of socio-economic development, national defense and security tasks in October and deploy directions and tasks for November 2024.

In October, the economic situation, production and business activities in the district continued to develop. In particular, the total planting area for the summer-autumn crop in 2024 was 3,388.1 hectares, reaching 100.3% of the plan. State budget revenue by October 16, 2024 was 175.8 billion VND, reaching 87.88% of the assigned estimate.

Forest protection and management work continues to be strengthened. Through patrols and inspections, the authorities have detected and handled 9 violations of the Forestry Law. The total budget allocated for the 3 National Target Programs from 2022 to 2024 is 782.1 billion VND. To date, more than 338.9 billion VND has been disbursed, reaching 43.34%.

The work of building new rural areas continues to receive attention. In particular, the district strives to support the construction of Dak Ha commune to meet new rural standards by 2025. Social security work is ensured. Political security and social order and safety are maintained.

At the conference, departments, units and localities focused on discussing the existing problems and limitations related to a number of issues: planning work; forest protection and development management; compensation and site clearance; disbursement of capital for the 3 National Target Programs; administrative reform work... On this basis, the units and localities proposed key solutions for the last 2 months of 2024.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Committee Tran Nam Thuan requested that departments, offices, units and localities continue to review each target and annual plan. Determined to complete and exceed the goals and targets for economic and social development in 2024.
