According to the announcement of the 2024 Administrative Reform Index, Dak Glong ranked 3rd out of 8 districts and cities, with a total score of 86.09 points, classified as good. The reception and settlement of administrative procedures is increasingly effective, ensuring the correct procedures and time as prescribed.
During the year, the district received 15,607 applications; of which, 13,699 applications were received directly and 1,908 applications were received online. The total number of applications resolved was 13,916 applications; of which, applications resolved on time accounted for 89.43%.
The application of information technology in management and administration has also been promoted, contributing to improving the quality of service for people and businesses. To date, 204 district-level administrative procedures and 111 commune-level administrative procedures have been made public on the Internet.
In addition to the achieved results, the conference also frankly acknowledged some shortcomings and limitations that need to be overcome such as: There are still administrative procedure records that are overdue; the rate of online records is still limited; the rate of digitization of records is not yet synchronized; online payment is still not high. Some units and localities do not have many innovative and creative ways in administrative reform.
Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the District People's Committee Tran Nam Thuan requested departments, units and localities to focus on overcoming shortcomings and limitations in administrative reform.
In particular, it is necessary to promote the responsibility of leaders in directing the tightening of discipline, order, working style, and implementation of public duties. Thereby creating conditions to attract investment, develop enterprises, and actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the district in the coming time.
The Chairman of Dak Glong District People's Committee also emphasized the improvement and promotion of the administrative reform index ranking at district and commune levels in 2025.
In particular, the district focuses on promoting administrative reform towards openness and transparency, taking the satisfaction of people and businesses as a measure of effectiveness.
At the same time, the district focuses on applying information technology, enhancing the responsibility of cadres, civil servants and public employees in performing administrative reform tasks.
On this occasion, the District People's Committee awarded 2 collectives and 14 individuals with outstanding achievements in administrative reform in 2024.
