The 7th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Gardening Association

On the morning of June 28, Nghe An Gardening Association held the 7th Congress of Delegates for the 2024-2029 term. Attending were comrade Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

During the past term, Nghe An Gardening Association has continuously developed, to date there are over 238 thousand members operating in 1,077 hamlet, village and commune branches.

Over the past 5 years, Nghe An Gardening Association has mobilized members and farmers to renovate mixed gardens, build garden economic models, VAC economy in a safer, cleaner, more modern and more effective direction. Up to now, there are 700 new rural standard gardens waiting for certification, over 300 new rural standard gardens have been certified. There are over 500 farms developing VAC economy, VACR with high economic efficiency. 75 cooperative groups, 136 cooperatives and new-style cooperatives have been established to operate effectively in building value chains.

Speaking at the congress, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De acknowledged the contributions of the Nghe An Provincial Gardening Association in the past time. At the same time, he hoped that the Nghe An Gardening Association would continue to promote its achievements to build many models of agricultural and rural economic development. Closely follow Resolution 39 of the Politburo to build the right direction and propagate to members to implement.

The congress unanimously elected a new executive committee of 23 comrades.

The Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to collectives and individuals for their achievements in the past term.

The Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province awarded certificates of merit to a group of 8 individuals with achievements in the patriotic emulation movement launched by the Fatherland Front.

On this occasion, 2 groups and 7 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee for their achievements in the past term. The Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee also awarded certificates of merit to 1 group and 8 individuals with achievements in the patriotic emulation movement launched by the Fatherland Front.
