On April 5, the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Lawyers Association held the 5th Congress, term 2024-2029.
The Congress was held at an important time, commemorating the 69th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Lawyers Association (April 4, 1955 - April 4, 2024), preparing to welcome the 5th Congress of Delegates of the Hoa Binh Provincial Lawyers Association, term 2024 -2029, towards the 14th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Lawyers Association, term 2024-2029.

Term IV, 2017 - 2024, with the close attention and direction of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Provincial Police, the Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Lawyers Association, the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Lawyers Association has closely followed the functions, tasks and program of activities of the Association, implemented and achieved many positive results, especially in the dissemination of laws;
Participate in giving opinions on drafting legal documents; do a good job of building the Association to be increasingly clean and strong; participate in receiving, investigating and resolving criminal cases to ensure the right person, the right crime, the right law, contributing to ensuring security and order in the province, serving well the socio-economic goals. Maintain security, order and social safety in the province.
The team of lawyers in the Provincial Police Association has been actively contributing to the field of building a socialist rule-of-law state, bringing the law into life, strengthening the legal system and maintaining legal discipline with the spirit of being a Lawyers Association member ready to help people with the law, being a propagandist of the law for the people, for justice. Contributing to raising people's awareness of law observance, maintaining social order and safety in the province.
The Congress selected and elected 5 members to the Executive Committee of the 5th Term, 2024-2029. The Executive Committee elected Lawyer Senior Lieutenant Colonel Bui Viet Hung - Deputy Director of Hoa Binh Provincial Police as the Chairman of the Hoa Binh Provincial Police Lawyers Association. The Congress also elected 10 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates to attend the Congress of Delegates of the Hoa Binh Provincial Lawyers Association, Term V, 2024-2029.
Lawyer Quach Dinh Minh - Permanent Vice President of Hoa Binh Provincial Bar Association presented flowers to congratulate the Congress on its great success.
Speaking at the Congress, Lawyer Quach Dinh Minh - Permanent Vice President of the Hoa Binh Provincial Lawyers Association highly appreciated the activities of the Provincial Police Lawyers Association in the previous term, considering this one of the bright spots of the Associations.
At the same time, it is recommended that the Police Lawyers Association in the new term should well implement the goals, tasks, and implementation solutions of the Association as stated in the Congress documents. Well implement the coordination program between the Ministry of Public Security and the Vietnam Lawyers Association signed on January 26, 2024.
Focus on training to improve legal knowledge for members, legal policy development; dissemination of legal education; grassroots mediation; legal advice; legal aid for people.
Continue to improve the organization of the Association, improve the quality of activities, closely follow the tasks of agencies, units and the Provincial Lawyers Association. At the same time, perform well the tasks of the Association and its members. Comply with the Association's Charter, protect the legitimate rights and interests of members, unite and gather members to build a strong and sustainable Association.
The Standing Vice President of the Provincial Bar Association emphasized that during this time, the Provincial Police Bar Association actively participated in activities to welcome the Congress of Delegates of the Hoa Binh Provincial Bar Association, term V, 2024-2029, towards the 14th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Bar Association, term 2024-2029, to contribute to the brilliant success of the Congress of Bar Associations at all levels.

Effectively carry out the work of building legal policies, providing legal advice, legal aid, disseminating and educating the law, participating in resolving complaints and denunciations, conciliating at the grassroots level and supervising law enforcement; responding to and actively participating in emulation movements launched by the Provincial Association every year to celebrate important events of the province and the country.
