The 11th Congress of Uncle Ho's Good Children of Ha Nam Province

Attending the congress were comrades: Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Dang Dinh Thoang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Trinh Hong Phong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Tran Xuan Duong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Central Youth Union, Central Council of the Young Pioneers; leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors, and 120 delegates of Uncle Ho's good children representing more than 140,000 children in the province.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the work of the young pioneers and the children's movement of the province has had many positive changes, achieving comprehensive results in all aspects. In particular, the movement "Ha Nam children compete to follow Uncle Ho's 5 teachings" has been widely deployed in all teams with many creative and effective ways, creating a friendly, safe and healthy environment for children to study, play and develop comprehensively.

All levels of the army have focused on promoting propaganda and educating children about the history and traditions of the nation through competitions, experiential activities, journeys to visit red addresses, and talk about traditions; visiting and giving thousands of gifts to families with preferential policies and people in difficult circumstances; promoting the movements "Speaking good words, doing good deeds", "Friends progressing together", "Small plans", "1,000 VND bicycles", "Study corners for children", "Raising piggy banks" ... attracting a large number of children in the province to participate. In the past 5 years, the whole province has had over 5,000 pairs of friends progressing together, friends helping friends; giving away over 3,650 bicycles and 370 study corners to children worth billions of VND.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Lua and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Tran Ngoc Nam presented laurel wreaths and certificates of the title of Good Children of Uncle Ho at the provincial level to outstanding children.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Xuan Duong and representatives of the Central Youth Union presented laurel wreaths and provincial-level certificates of Uncle Ho's good children to outstanding children.

Speaking at the congress, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Dinh Thi Lua, acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements that children in the province have achieved in the past 5 years. In order for the work of the Youth Union and the children's movement in the province to develop more and more effectively, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that all levels of the Youth Union, Association and Young Pioneers in the province continue to do a good job in protecting, caring for and educating teenagers and children, creating conditions for them to study, play, practice and actively participate in social activities; regularly educate the younger generation about revolutionary ideals, ethics and lifestyles, prevent and repel social evils among teenagers and child abuse. At the same time, pay attention to building a strong Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers organization with many diverse and practical movements and activities suitable to the psychology and age, helping young team members strive and practice, forming a generation of young team members who live responsibly, affectionately, filially, well-behaved, study well and are compassionate, becoming good children of Uncle Ho, and good citizens in the future.

In addition, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee and the Provincial Young Pioneer Council need to closely coordinate with the Department of Education and Training to pay attention to building a team of qualified and capable Young Pioneer leaders; focus on innovating methods, organizing rich and useful Young Pioneer activities in schools and in residential areas; promote the implementation of campaigns and emulation movements with rich, practical and suitable content to attract a large number of children to participate; pay attention to helping children in difficult circumstances...

On this occasion, the Provincial Council of the Young Pioneers commended and rewarded 120 good children of Uncle Ho at the provincial level and selected 7 outstanding team members and children to attend the 10th National Congress of Good Children of Uncle Ho in 2025.

Within the framework of the congress, on March 22, the delegation of Uncle Ho's good children of the province offered flowers and visited President Ho Chi Minh's mausoleum; visited the Vietnam Military Museum and attended the art exchange program "Fragrant flowers for Uncle Ho" jointly organized by the Provincial Youth Union, the Council of the Young Pioneers of Ha Nam province and the City Youth Union, the Council of the Young Pioneers of Hanoi city at the Hanoi Children's Palace.
