Within the framework of the Amazing Binh Dinh Fest Week 2024, people and tourists can admire and enjoy a series of delicious specialties of Binh Dinh province through the Binh Dinh Province Culinary Culture Festival. 54 regional culinary booths, including 42 culinary booths introducing typical and unique culinary dishes of Binh Dinh, other provinces and Korea and 11 booths introducing 50 OCOP products of districts, towns and cities in the province located in the area of Dong Da Street, Quy Nhon City.

Rich and famous dishes such as Huyen market spring rolls, gai leaf cake, shrimp spring rolls, Quy Nhon fish noodles, jumping shrimp pancakes, Song Than noodles, Dieu Tri rice vermicelli, Phu My shrimp noodles... are typical dishes that make domestic and foreign tourists excited. "The shrimp pancakes really impressed me. The sweetness of the shrimp, the crunchiness of the cake and the ingredients blend together to give me an unforgettable feeling," said Nguyen Quang Son (Thanh Hoa). This culinary specialty gathering event also featured specialties from other localities, including provinces and cities in the East, Southwest, Hue and especially the specialties of Yongsan district of Seoul, South Korea.

In addition to 54 food stalls, the 2024 Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Festival also has main activities such as the 77 Binh Dinh Cuisine Buffet Party; culinary demonstrations by local chefs inside and outside the province, and the Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Association also delight visitors. “The dishes here are very special, so I am very curious about how they are prepared. The culinary demonstration program helped me answer that question. I am very interested in this program, so I followed the whole program very closely. This program is very interesting,” said Nguyen Tan Duong (Quang Nam).

Director of Binh Dinh Department of Tourism Tran Van Thanh said that Binh Dinh Culinary Culture Festival aims to introduce and promote the unique and attractive culinary culture of Binh Dinh province to domestic people and international tourists. To honor, preserve, maintain and promote the quintessence of Binh Dinh culinary culture; at the same time, to shape and organize it into an annual tourism event. This is also an opportunity for exchange and learning between restaurant, hotel and catering service businesses, thereby improving the quality of service and culinary culture business activities in the province's tourism industry. At the same time, the festival also creates conditions for exchange, learning experiences, understanding more about the strengths, similarities and differences in culinary tourism between provinces and cities in the country to best serve the community and tourists.

“The food stalls in the evenings attract a large number of visitors and diners, many stalls run out of ingredients and have to stop serving. Many tourists come back many times to enjoy the delicious dishes of Binh Dinh that they have not known before. Hopefully, after this time, tourists will know more about Binh Dinh specialties and many will come back,” Mr. Thanh shared.
