Speaking at the program, Chairwoman of the City Women's Union Hoang Thi Thu Huong emphasized that, along with outstanding courage, intelligence, qualities and adaptability in a constantly changing and developing world, Da Nang women are absorbing the cultural quintessence of humanity; at the same time, always maintaining their own identity to create the beauty of Da Nang women in the new era "having knowledge, morality, health, responsibility for themselves, family, society and country".

The Women's Union of Da Nang City has constantly strived to exchange and enhance the position of the organization, contributing significantly to the transformation and development of the homeland. From creative ways of doing things, spreading emulation movements and campaigns, breakthroughs and innovations in both content and methods of operation with the motto "Towards the grassroots, accompanying the grassroots", the great potentials and good qualities of Da Nang women have been promoted.

In addition to promoting women's potential and strengths, actively participating in patriotic emulation movements; supporting women in creative activities, startups, innovation, adapting to the digital age... strongly arousing national strength through promoting the role of women in educating traditions, revolutionary ethics and transmitting and promoting national cultural values is always a regular task of the Association.

"Nearly 10,000 members of the Women's Union at all levels from the city to the grassroots, in different professions and fields in society, were honored for their good implementation of the emulation movement "Each member - a beautiful gesture, each Women's Union organization - a meaningful action" with their contributions and dedication... are typical flowers representing more than 400,000 women's union members in Da Nang who strive and confidently reach out to society, joining hands to build their homeland," said President of the City Women's Union Hoang Thi Thu Huong.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded the “Outstanding Women’s Association” Award in 2024 to 10 Associations. These are excellent representatives of 1,200 Women’s Associations in the city in the movement to build a strong, comprehensive, united and unified grassroots with continuous efforts to practically care for women’s lives and health, promote the spirit of autonomy, solidarity, and overcoming difficulties to rise up.

Within the framework of the program, there are art performances, scenes recreating the spirit, bravery and loyalty of the army and people of Da Nang, cultural exchange programs, folk dance performances and songs praising love for the homeland and country.

According to the President of the City Women's Union Hoang Thi Thu Huong, this month, the City Women's Union will organize a series of events: National Scientific Conference on the role of the "Long-haired Army" and the "Three Virtues" movement in the resistance war against the US, "Program to meet outstanding female former revolutionary prisoners" and honor the beauty of Vietnamese cultural identity, launch "Ao Dai Week 2025" across the country. At the same time, visit Vietnamese heroic mothers, patriotic female former prisoners, and female heroes of the People's Armed Forces living in the city, take care of the material and spiritual life of the people, especially the heroic martyrs, contributing to spreading noble and humane actions.
