On the morning of July 7, Vietnam Railways Corporation mobilized dozens of personnel to fix the problem of the railway track over Tam Bac Quay Bridge in Hai Phong City, which was deformed by the cargo train NB-795 last night, July 6.
By 11:00 a.m. the same day, the bent and misaligned section of the railway had been repaired and the Hanoi - Hai Phong train line was reopened.

Also on the Tam Bac River, about 300 meters from the Quay Train Bridge, Hai Phong authorities ordered concrete and steel piles to be placed on the river to protect the Tam Bac concrete bridge, which was built by a company and donated to the city, to prevent collisions between moving cargo ships.
