The railway sells group tickets and monthly tickets with many discounts on passenger trains on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route.
The Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said that the railway is selling group tickets and monthly tickets for the Hanoi - Hai Phong train with many incentives to attract passengers after the Lunar New Year.
Specifically, with group tickets, the following train pairs on the Hanoi - Hai Phong route are applied: HP1/HP2, LP5/LP6, LP2/3, LP7/LP8 running from Monday to Thursday every week.

Group tickets apply to groups of passengers traveling on the same train, same departure and arrival stations, tickets are sold to one buyer in one transaction (same booking code), same invoice information.
Accordingly, a group of 4 passengers traveling by train will only pay for 3 tickets according to the program of 4 people traveling by train, get 1 free ticket.
A group of 8 passengers traveling by train will only pay for 6 tickets (8 people traveling by train will get 2 free tickets).
When purchasing tickets, customers enter the discount code: "3tang1" for groups of 4 passengers; "6tang2" for groups of 8 passengers.
Passengers purchasing group tickets cannot exchange or return tickets and are not entitled to other preferential policies.
Individual passengers can buy individual monthly tickets, with no limit on trips. Short-distance tickets cost 600,000 VND/month for passengers departing and arriving from Hanoi to Hai Duong or vice versa; from Cam Giang to Hai Phong or vice versa.
Long-distance ticket price is 880,000 VND/month for passengers departing from Hanoi, Long Bien, Gia Lam and arriving from Phu Thai, Thuong Ly, Hai Phong or vice versa.
