On May 22, the Department of Information and Communications of Da Nang announced that the unit coordinated with the People's Committee of Son Tra district to organize the "Da Nang Book Festival 2024".
With the theme "Good books need readers", Da Nang Book Fair 2024 aims to honor, affirm the position, role and importance of books, and promote awareness among cadres, party members and people in the city.
Accordingly, the 2024 Da Nang Book Fair will take place over 4 days (from May 23-26) at the East Bank Park of Dragon Bridge, Tran Hung Dao Street, An Hai Tay Ward, Son Tra District, Da Nang City.
The opening ceremony will take place at 7:00 p.m. on May 24 and the summary and awarding of the contests will end at 4:30 p.m. on May 26.

The 2024 Da Nang Book Fair has the participation of 8 local and central publishing and distribution units with branches and representative offices in Da Nang and 7 wards in Son Tra district.
The book fair was organized and designed with 28 booths with many new books and editions and a variety of school supplies and stationery.
Coming to the Da Nang Book Fair 2024, in addition to participating in buying and selling books, readers can also participate in many rich activities and enjoy many unique art performances such as: serving multimedia mobile library vehicles and experiencing skill training games; displaying and exhibiting paintings and photos by artists, photographers and students; Golden Bell contest with book prizes; art programs; Book presentation contest...
Within the framework of the 2024 Da Nang Book Fair, officials, people and readers can also contribute to sharing knowledge through donating, contributing and supporting books and cultural products with the "Community Bookshelf" model launched by the Organizing Committee.
Books donated and supported by organizations and individuals will be transferred by the Organizing Committee to the school library system, ward reading rooms, public bookcases... in Son Tra district, in order to contribute to sharing and spreading knowledge to the community and book lovers./.
