Da Nang is about to auction 20 surplus public cars.

On August 20, Mr. Tran Thu, Deputy Director of the Department of Finance of Da Nang City, announced the selection of Joint Stock Auction Company No. 5 - National to organize the auction of 20/39 surplus cars for general work.

There are 2 participating units competing to organize the auction of the above assets. During the scoring process, the capacity, experience and reputation of Joint Stock Auction Company No. 5 - National were rated higher than Da Nang Asset Auction Center, so they were selected.

The 20 vehicles to be auctioned are surplus public service vehicles recovered under Decision No. 1263/QD-UBND. The starting price approved by the Da Nang People's Committee in mid-July is over 2.5 billion VND.

It is known that these 20 surplus public cars will be auctioned as a whole lot, not individually. None of the public cars auctioned by Da Nang City are worth billions. All of the cars are old models.
