This morning, January 6, the Organizing Committee of the 30th Golden Apricot Awards - 2024 will announce and award prizes in 4 categories.
These are the categories: Most Favorite MV (music video), Most Favorite Play, Most Favorite Movie and Most Favorite TV Series.
The Organizing Committee of the Mai Vang Awards will also award prizes to three outstanding cultural and artistic works in 2024. Specifically, they are the work "Carve away...carve to", a memoir by writer - director Xuan Phuong; the photographic work "Fire prevention and rescue drill at Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro station" by author Kieu Anh Dung and the oil painting "Highway" by author Nguyen Trong Hoan.
On this occasion, the Minister of Information and Communications awarded a certificate of merit to Mr. To Dinh Tuan - Editor-in-Chief of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Head of the Steering Committee of the 30th Mai Vang Award - 2024 - for his many outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the Mai Vang Award, contributing to the dissemination of good cultural and artistic values. The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also awarded certificates of merit to 15 individuals with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the Mai Vang Award over the past 30 years (1995-2025), contributing to the development of the cultural industry in the city.
Vietnam Record Organization - VietKings will also announce the decision to establish a Vietnam Record for the "Mai Vang Award, the longest-running annual cultural and artistic award voted by the public and readers in Vietnam".

The Editorial Board of the Lao Dong Newspaper also expressed gratitude to the former leaders of the newspaper through the periods who contributed their efforts and intelligence on the journey of forming and developing the Mai Vang Award; awarded the "30 years of Mai Vang Award" Commemorative Medal to journalists who were former Editors-in-Chief of the Lao Dong Newspaper through the periods, and journalists who participated in the Organizing Committee of the Mai Vang Award.
On this occasion, artist Le Sa Long will present a painting of 30 outstanding artists who won the Mai Vang Award to auction to support the "Mai Vang Tri An" program of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper.
The 4th Music Exchange program will also take place on the same morning, with the participation of many musicians who have composed works in response to the songwriting campaign "The Country is Full of Joy" organized by Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
