At noon on June 21, Lam Dong General Hospital announced that early that morning, they had performed timely surgery to save the life of a male patient who had been stabbed in the heart, was in a coma, had lost a lot of blood, and was in critical condition.

The patient, Le Hoang Phuc (29 years old, from Ca Mau), was admitted to the emergency room at 11:00 p.m. on June 20, with a stab wound on the left side of his chest, severe blood loss, pericardial effusion, causing cardiac tamponade, and critical condition.
After consultation, the doctors immediately transfused blood for patient Phuc and performed emergency surgery. The surgical team promptly sutured the stab wound in the heart, restored the membrane, and treated the fluid in the pleural cavity. At about 1:30 a.m. on June 21, the surgery ended, and the victim was taken to the Intensive Care and Anti-Poison Department to be put on a ventilator.
At around 9am the same day, the patient showed signs of recovery and was continuing to receive intensive treatment. According to doctors, although the patient was seriously injured due to a stab wound to the heart, no relatives had yet come to take care of him.
