Bao Liem was born in 1956. He is a comedian familiar to Vietnamese audiences and was once famous when collaborating with Van Son.
In 1975, Bao Liem started out as a dancer, then he founded the comedy group Map Em. In 1990, he restarted his career as a wedding MC and met Van Son.
After that, the two formed the comedy group Van Son - Bao Liem to perform. After a while, he separated from the group and founded his own center called Bao Liem Production but was not successful.
