The world's leading artificial intelligence (AI) companies are releasing new figures that show strong growth in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions to global users.
OpenAI - the founder of the ChatGPT application - announced that the number of users of their popular chatbot has doubled since November 2023, reaching 200 million monthly users.

According to OpenAI, as many as 92% of Fortune 500 companies currently use their services.
The Fortune 500 is an annual ranking by Fortune magazine of the 500 largest companies in the United States by revenue.
This is one of the most important indicators to assess the size and influence of companies in the US economy, as well as in the global economy.
Meanwhile, Meta - the parent company of social network Facebook, said that AI features on the group's platforms now have 400 million monthly users and 185 million weekly users.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the number of AI users in Meta's "resident community" of more than 3 billion people is growing rapidly, although the feature has not been deployed in the UK, Brazil or the European Union (EU).
Meta also said that usage of its Llama model — which Meta built on data from major cloud services — doubled between May and July after Meta rolled out the update.
Most companies using AI models access them through the world's leading cloud providers Amazon, Microsoft, IBM and Google, rather than installing them on their own servers.
Llama (which is free) is competing directly with Google's ChatGPT or Gemini support models which are also offered to companies (for a fee) through cloud providers.
Microsoft is a company that is backing OpenAI in developing AI, and is also developing its own AI tools based on OpenAI's technology.
According to Microsoft, usage of their Copilot chatbot has increased by 60% in just 3 months. To date, users have used Copilot to create more than 12 billion images and 13 billion conversations.
Meanwhile, Google, although considered a leader in the field of generative AI development, is considered to be more sluggish than its competitors and often makes mistakes when deploying AI tools.
Google now brings the Gemini chatbot into all of its products like Gmail or Google Maps and recently continued to provide AI image generation features for premium customers and businesses.
