Ma Pi Leng - Dong Van Stone Plateau is located at an altitude of 1,200m in Dong Van Stone Plateau on the road named Happiness connecting Ha Giang city with Dong Van and Meo Vac districts.
On October 3, 2010, the dossier of “Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark” was officially recognized as a Global Geopark by the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network (GGN) Advisory Council. At that time, this was the only title in Vietnam and the second in Southeast Asia.
Entering the road, you will be fascinated by the beauty of the Rhododendron flowers, the white color of the Bauhinia flowers on the high mountain peaks. In addition, you will admire the beauty of the highland on the high road and enjoy the natural picture of this place when continuing to conquer the entire distance of nearly 200 km.
In winter, the road is covered in the gray-black color of clouds and mist. In summer, the rays of sunlight at dawn shine through, making the road seem to glow.
The majestic mountain scenery with steep cliffs on one side and the deep abyss of the Nho Que River with emerald green water on the other. On the way to conquer Ma Pi Leng Pass, there are rest stops for visitors to rest and enjoy the scenery.

During the journey to discover the Happiness Road from October, visitors also have the experience of admiring the colorful buckwheat flower fields, admiring and taking photos of the unique costumes of the Mong ethnic group, enjoying the unique cuisine of the Mong ethnic group such as thang co, corn wine, buckwheat flower cakes, buckwheat beer, and joining in the dances and dancing with the Mong boys and girls, in the melodious sound of the panpipes, the impression is truly unforgettable.
