Data reported daily by the Department of Health of provinces and cities on the Covid-19 Management System of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management, Ministry of Health shows that patients were announced to be cured on the day: 104 cases. Total number of cured cases: 10,638,978 cases.

The number of patients on oxygen is 22. Of these, 19 are on oxygen through a mask; 3 are on non-invasive ventilation.

There were 0 deaths recorded during the day. Average number of deaths recorded over the past 7 days: 0 cases. The total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Vietnam to date is 43,206 cases, accounting for 0.4% of the total number of infections.

Total deaths ranked 26th out of 231 territories, deaths per 1 million people ranked 141st out of 231 countries and territories in the world. Compared to Asia, total deaths ranked 7th out of 50 (ranked 3rd in ASEAN), deaths per 1 million people ranked 29th out of 50 countries and territories in Asia (ranked 5th in ASEAN).

On June 5, 2,833 doses of Covid-19 vaccine were administered. Thus, the total number of doses administered was 266,442,483. Of which, the number of doses administered to people aged 18 and over was 223,766,327: 70,909,350 doses for the first dose; 68,456,344 doses for the second dose; 14,344,121 doses for the supplementary dose; 52,143,803 doses for the first booster dose; 17,912,709 doses for the second booster dose.

The number of doses for children from 12 to 17 years old is 23,965,655 doses: 1st dose is 9,130,889 doses; 2nd dose is 9,021,382 doses; 1st booster dose is 5,813,384 doses.

The number of doses for children from 5 to 11 years old is 18,710,501 doses: 10,230,316 doses for the first dose; 8,480,185 doses for the second dose.
