Song Da Clean Water Company increased its selling price from 5,069 VND/m3 to 7,767 VND/m3.

(NLDO) - After 11 years, Hanoi has allowed Song Da Clean Water Company to increase the wholesale price of clean water for daily use in Hanoi to 7,767 VND/m3.

The Hanoi People's Committee has just approved the selling price of clean water for daily life of Song Da Clean Water Investment Joint Stock Company in 2025 at VND 7,767/m3 (excluding value added tax - VAT) applicable in the city.

Accordingly, Hanoi assigned Song Da Clean Water Company to provide clean water for daily life to ensure quality according to standards. Along with that, this company proactively reviewed the implementation of the plan for selling clean water for daily life in accordance with the reality during the construction process of completing the Song Da Surface Water Plant Phase II project, increasing the capacity of the plant to 600,000 m3/day and night. Relevant agencies and units were assigned to supervise and guide the implementation of the plan for selling clean water for daily life of Song Da Clean Water Company according to regulations.

Song Da Clean Water Company is selling to retailers such as Viwaco Joint Stock Company, Ha Dong Clean Water Company, Dong Tien Thanh Thu Do Company Limited, Tay Ha Noi Clean Water Joint Stock Company...

It is known that this price increase is the wholesale price, while the retail price of tap water for people has not increased. The retail price of tap water for people is adjusted according to the roadmap of Hanoi City.

The wholesale price of Song Da Clean Water Company is currently 5,069 VND/m3, applied since 2014. For the retail price of tap water to Hanoi residents, the city has decided to adjust it on July 7, 2023 and to date, this price is still applied.

Domestic water prices are being applied in Hanoi.
