Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Trade Union approves 2025 Action Program

At the conference, comrade Nguyen Cong Danh - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union announced the Trade Union Activity Program for 2025. Accordingly, the key task of the program is to direct grassroots trade unions to protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members; organize activities to care for union members.

Organize emulation movements to welcome Party congresses at all levels, towards the First Provincial People's Committee Party Congress; celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025). Organize training on the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, Session XIII, the Trade Union Law 2025; skills and professional trade union activities for members of the Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions and member grassroots trade unions; and supervisory skills for the People's Inspectorate.

Organize supervision and inspection of grassroots trade unions in developing regulations and action plans for the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee, and Women's Union for the 2023-2028 term. Direct grassroots trade unions to organize activities to continue implementing the "Godmother" program for orphans and children in difficult circumstances; organize gender-related activities to celebrate International Women's Day (March 8), Vietnamese Family Day (June 28), Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20); propagate and mobilize union members to effectively carry out social activities.

To effectively implement the 2025 Trade Union Activity Program, the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union Executive Committee has proposed key solutions: Representing and protecting the legal and legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; taking care of the interests of union members and workers; effectively organizing patriotic emulation movements; increasing participation in building a strong Party, government, and trade union organization.

Attending the conference, delegates contributed and added some ideas and contents to complete the 2025 Trade Union Activity Program. Based on the feedback, the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union Standing Committee will continue to supplement and complete the Activity Program.

At the Conference, delegates also commented, supplemented and approved the draft documents of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union: Working regulations of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee for the 2025 - 2028 term; Working program of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee for the entire term and in 2025; Inspection and supervision work program of the Standing Committee for the entire term and in 2025; Working program of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union for the entire term and in 2025; Operating regulations of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union for the 2025 - 2028 term; Operating regulations of the Women's Union of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union for the 2025 - 2028 term; Plan to organize activities in response to "Workers' Month" in 2025.
