Announcement of decisions on appointment of Assistants and Secretaries of the General Secretary and President

At the conference, Comrade Hoang Dang Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission, announced the decisions of the Secretariat on personnel work. Accordingly, the Secretariat decided to appoint Lieutenant General To An Xo, Assistant to the Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, to the position of Assistant to the General Secretary and Head of the General Secretary's Office.

The Secretariat decided to appoint Colonel Tran Dang Quynh, Assistant to Politburo member and Minister of Public Security, to the position of Assistant to the General Secretary.

In his congratulatory and task assignment speech, Comrade Luong Cuong stated that this is the recognition and appreciation of the Party, the State, and directly the Party Committees at all levels of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Central Party Office for the efforts and endeavors of the comrades during their work. The new task is a great honor, but also places a very heavy responsibility on the comrades in the coming time.

Comrade Luong Cuong expressed his belief that in their new positions, comrades will continue to strive, practice, continue to promote their strengths and work experience, and successfully complete assigned tasks. Along with that, comrades will strengthen their responsibility to set an example, promote the spirit of solidarity, coordinate work closely, smoothly, and effectively with agencies and units under the Central Party Office, contributing to the successful completion of common tasks.

Also at the conference, comrade Nguyen Duy Ngoc presented the Decision of the Chief of the Party Central Committee Office appointing Major Dinh Tien Hai, Deputy Director, Secretary of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security to hold the position of Secretary of the General Secretary.

On behalf of the comrades receiving the Decision, comrade To An Xo spoke to accept the direction of comrade Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong; at the same time, emphasizing that, being fully aware of his role and responsibility, he promised to make continuous efforts to be worthy of the trust and fulfill the assigned tasks well. He hoped to receive the sharing and close coordination of the comrades leading the agencies and units under the Central Party Office in the process of performing the tasks.
