The delegation visited, wished a happy new year and exchanged information with the police of 4 Lao provinces and paid courtesy visits to the Secretaries and Governors of the provinces. During the visits and meetings, the Director of the City Police respectfully sent congratulations on the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (March 22, 1955 - March 22, 2025), the 64th anniversary of the founding of the Lao Police Force (April 5, 1961 - April 5, 2025) and sent New Year greetings to the provincial leaders and the police of the Lao provinces.

Hue City Police exchanged some information and situation on coordination with the Police of 4 Lao provinces in ensuring security and order; especially in preventing and combating drug crimes, high-tech crimes, and transnational crimes; thereby contributing to continuing to foster and consolidate the long-lasting friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation with the Police of Lao provinces.

At the 4 provinces where the delegation visited and worked, the Secretary - Provincial Governor and Director of the Provincial Police Department expressed their joy to welcome the delegation of Hue City Police to visit and wish Bunpimay a happy New Year; at the same time, thanked the Hue City Police Department for their attention, support and encouragement in the past time.

On this occasion, Hue City Police requested the leaders of the four provinces to pay attention and create favorable conditions for the police forces of the two sides to continue to cooperate closely and comprehensively in the field of ensuring security and order. At the same time, pay attention and create favorable conditions for citizens and businesses of Hue City to operate in order to contribute to the socio-economic development of each locality; continue to recommend paying attention and creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese citizens in general and Hue City in particular in handling procedures on residence, guiding compliance with Lao laws, helping people to reside legally, avoiding violations of the law.

Leaders of neighboring provinces highly appreciated the results of cooperation in the field of security and order protection between Hue City Police and local police of Laos. Thereby, they agreed with the directions mentioned by the Director of Hue City Police and said that they will continue to pay attention to directing departments, branches, functional agencies and police forces to coordinate closely and comprehensively to promote the good tradition of serving socio-economic development, maintaining security and defense, maintaining and developing the special friendship between the two Parties, two States and police forces of the two countries.

During the working trip, the delegation offered incense at the Uncle Ho Monument (Kaysone Phomvihane city, Sa Van Na Khet province); and visited the Consulate General of Vietnam in Champasak and Sa Van Na Khet provinces.
