(Dan Tri) - Quoc Cuong Gia Lai's QCG shares hit the ceiling price of VND11,150/unit, with no sellers. Positive business results in 2024 could be the reason supporting the stock price.
This morning's trading session (February 3) is also the first day of the new year of At Ty after the Tet holiday, the stock market was immersed in red. At the end of the morning session, VN-Index decreased by 9.57 points to 1,255.48 points. The group of pillar stocks in VN30 became a burden on the market when it decreased by nearly 18.5 points, including 24 stocks decreasing in price and only 6 stocks increasing.
In that context, QCG shares of Quoc Cuong Gia Lai Joint Stock Company were immersed in purple and "white" on the selling side. The stock price reached 11,150 VND/unit, up 10% after about 2 weeks. Investors were more active in buying than selling.

Quoc Cuong Gia Lai's positive business results in 2024 may be the reason supporting QCG's stock price. In the fourth quarter, the company recorded net revenue of nearly VND486 billion, more than 3 times higher than the same period last year; after-tax profit of more than VND63 billion, nearly 5 times higher. The company said that it handed over real estate apartments during the period.
In 2024, the company with Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong as General Director achieved net revenue of more than 729 billion VND, an increase of 69% compared to the previous year. Pre-tax profit reached 88 billion VND, after-tax profit was nearly 72 billion VND (24 times higher than the previous year). However, despite high growth, compared to the annual plan, Quoc Cuong Gia Lai only completed 56% of the revenue and 88% of the profit set.
Some other stocks also rarely hit the ceiling price this morning and there were no sellers. DLG shares of Duc Long Gia Lai Group Joint Stock Company hit the ceiling price to VND2,020/unit. GEE shares of Gelex Electricity Joint Stock Company hit the ceiling price to VND37,850/unit. TNT shares of TNT Group Joint Stock Company hit the ceiling price to VND4,640/unit.
Returning to the general market developments, pillar stocks such as banks and securities all fell. Technology stocks fell sharply, of which FPT shares of FPT Corporation fell 4% to 147,200 VND/unit. Cash flow favored small and medium-sized stocks.
The positive point in this morning's trading session is that market liquidity has improved, possibly due to investors' enthusiasm to welcome the new year. Liquidity in the morning session reached more than 7,785 billion VND.
