The Vietnamese women's team is rushing to complete their training period in Hanoi, before leaving for Germany to train in preparation for the 2023 World Cup. The Vietnamese women's team will play friendly matches with Germany, Poland U.23, then face New Zealand and Spain before attending the 2023 World Cup.

Talking about the German women's team, the current runner-up of the women's EURO, Van Su shared: "For me, the German team is similar to the Philippines, because they have a tall physique and a strong source of physical strength. Coach Mai Duc Chung always tells the whole team that because their physique is smaller, they must be fast and have good technique to get past people when facing stronger teams. If they meet the German women's team or strong teams at the upcoming World Cup, the Vietnamese team will minimize the number of goals conceded and cannot think about playing on par with them."
