On the afternoon of March 14, Thai Nguyen Women's Club announced three quality contracts ahead of the 2024 national women's football championship season. They are goalkeeper Tran Thi Kim Thanh, the current 2023 Vietnam Women's Golden Ball; midfielder Nguyen Thi Bich Thuy, the current 2023 Vietnam Women's Bronze Ball; and defender Tran Thi Thu.
After ending their contracts with Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club I at the end of 2023, goalkeeper Kim Thanh, midfielder Bich Thuy and defender Tran Thi Thu decided to leave to find a new destination, with the next destination being Thai Nguyen Women's Club.
The contracts of Kim Thanh, Bich Thuy and Tran Thi Thu are for 2 years with remuneration commensurate with the value, talent, reputation and contributions of the 3 Vietnamese female players.

Thai Nguyen Women's Club signs contracts with 3 "huge" new recruits
The investment policy to recruit talent was implemented by Thai Nguyen Women's Club last season, when the team spent money to bring in the trio Le Hoai Luong, Nguyen Thi My Anh and Tran Thi Kim Anh. These three players became rare names in history to receive transfer fees - something that is familiar in men's football, but rarely appears in women's football.
At the end of 2019, the Thai Nguyen women's football team was at risk of disbanding due to lack of operating funds. In order to join hands with the locality to help the team overcome difficulties, T&T Group decided to sponsor the Thai Nguyen women's football club, providing full training equipment, guaranteed salary and bonus regime, so that the players can focus on competing and contributing.
The first-ever funding for women’s football contracts not only improves the lives of players. More importantly, it is also a historic push towards the professionalization of women’s football in particular and Vietnamese football in general, helping to recognize the value of female players.

Players receive bonuses from the club
The reigning Vietnamese Women's Golden Ball winner Kim Thanh brings "steel" to the defense of Thai Nguyen Women's Club.
“These contracts will create a boost for training. Young players see their future in such contracts. That is what women's football needs to create fundamental, long-term development. When female players can make a living from their career and, even better, get rich from football, we believe that many families will not object to their children pursuing a football career,” said Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of T&T Group.
With investment from businesses, Thai Nguyen Women's Club is transforming. Most recently, it won a bronze medal at the 2022 National U.19 Championship. At the National Women's Football Championship, although coach Doan Viet Trieu and his team have not been able to catch up with the top teams, they are gradually improving. The team hopes to compete for the championship this season with Ho Chi Minh City Women's Club I, Hanoi Women's Club I and Vietnam Coal and Minerals Women's Club.
