Final of the 9th Journalism Competition

(HTV) - General Secretary To Lam chaired the 9th Golden Hammer and Sickle Awards Ceremony, affirming the role of the press in Party building.

On the evening of January 20, at Ho Guom Theater, General Secretary To Lam, along with leaders and former leaders of the Party and State and representatives of press agencies, solemnly held the 9th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award Ceremony to honor outstanding press works on Party building.

This year's Golden Hammer and Sickle Awards had 2,544 entries, an increase of 15% compared to last year, showing that the award is increasingly widespread in central and local press agencies. Of the 137 entries selected for the final round, the Organizing Committee awarded 06 A Prizes, 12 B Prizes, 18 C Prizes, 10 Special Prizes and 40 Encouragement Prizes.

The work "Ta tong cuong song" by the group of authors of the News Center - Ho Chi Minh City Television was honored to receive the B Prize.
