The model of “River safety, drowning prevention” is deployed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of waterway traffic order and safety; prevent drowning accidents, raise awareness and sense of compliance with the law on traffic order and safety for people participating in waterway traffic and people living along rivers and lakes in Viet Tien commune; enhance safety conditions to minimize river traffic accidents...

At the launching ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented 35 life jackets and 20 life buoys to the Steering Committee for Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue of Viet Tien Commune; boat owners and boat drivers in Viet Tien Commune.

At the launching ceremony, representatives of the traffic police force disseminated and popularized legal knowledge related to the Law on Order and Safety of Inland Waterways; instructed some skills when participating in waterway traffic... In addition, representatives of relevant parties signed a commitment to properly implement regulations to ensure safety on waterways, such as: Wearing full life jackets when participating in waterway traffic; fully equipping vehicle owners with life jackets; strictly complying with the rules on waterway traffic safety; fully equipping life-saving equipment and floating tools on boats and ferries; regularly assigning tasks and checking the performance of tasks of members in the model; well organizing the work of widely disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and legal regulations related to ensuring order and safety of waterway traffic and preventing drowning in residential areas...
