Preparing for technical opening of Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway

Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway has been paved and is ready for opening day.

Recognizing the urgent and responsible working spirit of the construction units and sharing the pressure on progress with the contractors, Mr. Nguyen Cong Vinh emphasized that the technical traffic opening event is an important milestone in the project implementation process, having great significance in promoting the development of transport infrastructure and enhancing connectivity in the Southeast region. The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to be the focal point for organizing and coordinating the preparation of program content, speeches and communication work. The Project Management Board is primarily responsible for logistics, reception and event organization to ensure solemnity and proper scale.

According to the report of the Regional Traffic Project Management Board and the Agricultural Sector, the Component 3 project has now reached more than 80% of the construction volume. The overpasses on the main route have been completed; the girder installation of the cross-over bridges has been completed. The main items are entering the finishing stage, expected to be completed in the coming days to ensure technical traffic opening in April 2025. The entire Component 3 project will be put into operation in September 2025, according to the committed schedule.
