The report on the socio-economic situation in January and key tasks in February 2025 clearly stated: Following the results achieved in 2024, the socio-economic situation in January 2024 of the province continued to achieve positive results, notably stable agricultural production, no major epidemics on crops and livestock. By January 15, 2025, the whole province had harvested winter crops with a total area of about 35 thousand hectares, reaching 76.8% of the planting area. The whole province has newly planted 300 hectares of concentrated forests and 250 thousand scattered trees; units are actively preparing the site and seedlings to implement the 2025 forest planting plan and "Tet tree planting to forever remember Uncle Ho" Spring At Ty 2025.

Industrial production continued to be stable; the industrial production index in January 2025 increased by 11.6%; domestic trade activities in the province were vibrant, prices were basically stable, without sudden price increases; the system of supermarkets and stores implemented many promotional programs, incentives, and discounts to stimulate consumption; the market of goods was diverse and rich in designs and types to serve the people before and during the Lunar New Year.
Business development continued to achieve positive results. During the month, 138 new businesses were established, up 22.1% over the same period, with registered capital of VND 2,145.3 billion, 2.6 times higher.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Do Minh Tuan emphasized: The results achieved in January 2025 have closely assessed the practical situation as well as the direction and management work from the province to the grassroots. However, there are still targets that have not met the set targets, requiring all levels, sectors and localities to make more efforts in the coming time, notably the State budget collection activities.

At the meeting, delegates discussed and gave their opinions on the Submission on amending and supplementing a number of contents of the Land Price List for the period 2020-2024 in Thanh Hoa province; Submission on promulgating the Decision of the Provincial People's Committee stipulating the authority, process of preparing, synthesizing, and approving the Capital Advancement Plan, the authority to decide on capital advance from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Land Development Fund; Submission on promulgating the unit price for producing radio and television programs using the State budget in Thanh Hoa province and a number of other important contents.
