Snake mascots and 24K gold-plated 3D letter paintings are beautiful and expensive items that appeared about 3 months before Lunar New Year at a production facility in Hanoi.

Before the 2025 New Year and the Lunar New Year of At Ty, many unique gift items have been sought after and ordered early by businesses and consumers, including gold-plated paintings, snake mascots...

At a Tet gift production facility in Tay Mo (Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi), paintings with the image of a snake mascot have been ordered by customers since the ninth lunar month. According to the business owner, customers often order early to avoid having to wait near Tet.

Artisan Nguyen Tung Lam (Act Gold Company) said that his facility has been implementing gold-plated Tet gift items since 2019 until now. Every year, on this occasion, he receives many orders for Tet mascots and paintings with hundreds of items per order.

In Eastern culture, snakes are symbols of luck, fortune and wisdom, and represent rebirth, transformation and strong growth.

The unique finished products here include a snake mascot measuring 35cm x 55cm x 69cm (priced at VND99 million) and the smallest statue, measuring 19.5cm x 14cm x 25cm (VND8.8 million).

According to Mr. Tung Lam, in addition to ensuring aesthetic details on the body, the mascot's shape needs to focus on expression and spirit. With the snake of the year of At Ty, the eyes and mouth are designed to create a feeling of peace, the head is facing up and has no fangs.

The product model was designed specifically about 6 months before Tet.

In addition, customers can also make gold-plated paintings according to their personal needs. The artisans will design, create shapes according to the photo and then realize them with vivid, embossed shapes.

The painting of a pair of peacocks took about 2 weeks to design and construct and cost 250 million VND. The workers meticulously created the glittering thin gold pieces on a black fabric background and framed it in a luxurious wooden frame.
