(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of April 2, Lac Duong District Party Committee held the 21st Conference of the District Party Executive Committee to evaluate the implementation of political tasks in the first quarter and deploy key tasks in the second quarter of 2025; and give opinions on the Plan to rearrange commune-level administrative units in the district.

In the first quarter of 2025, Party committees, authorities, departments, branches and organizations in the district have actively and proactively implemented the tasks of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security, Party building and the political system in the spirit of Resolution 12-NQ/HU, dated November 29, 2024 and Resolution No. 15-NQ/HU, dated March 5, 2025 of the District Party Committee.

The economy continued to develop, agricultural production was maintained, and the area of ​​all crops increased compared to the same period. The value of industrial and service production grew quite well. Tourists visiting the district increased in both quantity and revenue compared to the same period, attracting 695,000 visitors with revenue reaching 107 billion VND (reaching 25.3% in terms of number of visitors and 29.7% in terms of revenue compared to the 2025 plan, an increase of 106% in terms of number of visitors and 112% in terms of revenue compared to the same period).

As of March 18, the total state budget revenue in the district reached 54.82 billion VND, reaching 22.51%; of which the district's revenue reached 40.95 billion VND, reaching 22.32%. Local budget expenditure was 84.92 billion VND, reaching 18.73% of the estimate, of which regular expenditure was 61.45 billion VND, reaching 15.41% of the estimate.

Forest protection and management work is regularly strengthened and effective, with no violations in the forestry sector. Land and mineral resource management is regularly focused on, thereby promptly detecting and handling violations, especially land leveling and illegal mineral exploitation.

Pay attention to speeding up the progress of investment procedures to soon start construction of projects under the 2025 capital plan, especially capital extension and transition projects; at the same time, focus on directing the implementation of site clearance work to speed up construction progress and disbursement of capital for newly started projects.

Culture and society are implemented according to the set plan; focusing on taking good care of people to celebrate the Lunar New Year of At Ty, ensuring the motto "no one is left without Tet" and implementing the 2025 Poverty Reduction Plan with many resources and high determination to eliminate all poor households (21 households) in the district. Developing new tourism models associated with the culture of ethnic minorities from the Central Highlands.

National defense continues to be consolidated and maintained; political security and social order and safety are basically stable; the work of handing over and receiving citizens to join the army in 2025 is completed, ensuring safety, quality and meeting the targets assigned by the province.

The work of Party building and political system building is regularly paid attention to and focused on. Timely leadership and direction are given to the organization of studying, thoroughly grasping and concretizing the implementation of the Party's resolutions and directives; especially propagating Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW of the Politburo and the Secretariat on implementing research and proposing to continue to reorganize the apparatus of the political system; promptly grasping the ideological situation of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and people on the implementation of the reorganization of the apparatus, thereby showing that the majority agree with and support this policy of the Politburo and the Secretariat...

Complete on schedule and within the time limit the organization of congresses of Party cells under the grassroots Party Committee for the 2025-2027 term. Merge the Propaganda Department and the Mass Mobilization Department of the District Party Committee into the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the District Party Committee. Direct the research, arrangement, dissolution, and establishment of a number of grassroots Party organizations under the District Party Committee according to the policy of arranging and streamlining the political system apparatus, thereby reducing 1 advisory and support agency under the District Party Committee and 2 specialized agencies under the District People's Committee.

The leadership capacity, fighting strength of the Party organization and the quality of Party members continued to be improved; the arrangement of organizational apparatus was completed in the right direction. The work of inspection, supervision, enforcement of Party discipline and prevention and combat of corruption and negativity was implemented in a focused, key, serious and effective manner. The role of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations was promoted well. The work of administrative reform, digital transformation, and building a smart district continued to be focused on and implemented effectively.

In addition to the achieved results, there are still limitations such as: Some production models and agricultural production linkages still face difficulties; land leveling and illegal mineral exploitation still occur; mineral auctions, site clearance and disbursement of public investment capital are still slow; violations of construction order still occur but have not been resolutely handled; progress in implementing construction planning for communes is still slow...

At the Conference, delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on the draft Report on the implementation of political tasks in the first quarter and key directions and tasks in the second quarter of 2025; and gave opinions on the Draft Plan for the Arrangement of Commune-level Administrative Units in the district.

The conference also approved the Work Report of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee in the first 3 months of 2024.
