At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction of Tien Giang province, Ha Thien Y, reported that immediately after its establishment, the Department of Construction quickly stabilized its organizational structure and went into operation without affecting the normal activities of society and people, and ensuring compliance with the Government's regulations on the establishment, reorganization, and dissolution of administrative organizations in Decree No. 158/2018/ND-CP dated November 22, 2018 of the Government.

Accordingly, the Department of Construction has developed an Action Plan for implementation, in which the Department's Board of Directors has directed its departments and affiliated units to focus on advising on implementing targets related to the industry's tasks, striving to complete or exceed the targets set out in the plan by the end of the year.

Specifically, coordinate and support the Central project management agency and relevant localities to accelerate ongoing inter-regional projects such as: An Huu - Cao Lanh Expressway Project Phase 1; Rach Mieu 2 Bridge Construction Investment Project; mobilize and coordinate with central ministries and branches to soon implement key projects: Coastal road section through Tien Giang province connecting Long An and Ben Tre provinces (phase 1).

At the same time, in coordination with the Management Boards of traffic construction investment projects, the Management Boards of civil and industrial construction investment projects continue to implement key traffic projects such as: Traffic road project on both sides of Bao Dinh river, provincial road 864 (Road along Tien river), traffic road serving industrial development in the East...

Along with that, we are preparing to invest in the Provincial Road 877 Project, the urban traffic axis of Ho Chi Minh City - Long An - Tien Giang through Tien Giang province (National Highway 50B), Hung Vuong Street and residential areas on both sides of the road, Provincial Road 878 (phase 2). At the same time, we are implementing a detailed 1/200 planning of the complex works on the Soai Rap River to have a basis for calling for investment in seaports.

In addition, the Department researches and proposes to remove difficulties and obstacles in implementing large-scale infrastructure projects, especially in compensation, support and resettlement; speed up progress and ensure the quality of expressway projects; have breakthrough, practical and effective solutions to remove legal obstacles to develop infrastructure projects invested in the form of public-private partnerships...

In addition to the initial positive results, the Department also has a number of recommendations to enhance the effectiveness of state management of construction, planning and urban development.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Van Vinh highly appreciated the efforts of the Department of Construction in reorganizing the apparatus and maintaining stable operations.

At the same time, it is recommended to continue stabilizing the organizational structure to ensure the policy of effective and efficient operation consolidation; develop working regulations and assign tasks clearly and specifically in the Board of Directors, leaders of specialized departments and divisions, especially assigning the right people to the right jobs to ensure good performance of the work; implement well the operating mechanism and coordination between related departments and divisions; maintain the spirit of solidarity, encouragement and motivation within the organization; continue to carry out well the administrative procedure reform of the industry; continue to perfect plans, deploy management and organize implementation to ensure the quality of planning...
