"March Border Month" Program 2025: Tien Giang Youth join hands to protect the Fatherland's border

Opening the series of activities, aiming to join hands in implementing the project " Tien Giang Youth join hands to eliminate temporary houses" in 2025, at Ba Tien 1 Hamlet, Phu Dong Commune, the Organizing Committee started the construction of the Charity House, supporting households in difficult circumstances. Following the program, at the Luy Phao Dai Historical Site, delegates and members of the Youth Union and youth observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroes and martyrs who fought to protect the borderland.

After the flag-raising ceremony, the delegates moved to Phu Tan Border Guard Station to participate in cultural and artistic exchange activities with border guards. The program had many rich contents such as: Culinary contest, display of local specialties, signing of cooperation agreements between units, thereby strengthening the close relationship between youth and the Border Guard force.

Award scholarships to students.

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented many meaningful gifts, including scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, gifts to children of border guards, as well as implementing the model "Caring for and supporting orphans" to help less fortunate children.

The Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union in coordination with Lock&Lock HCM Company Limited organized the volunteer campaign "Courage with Lock&Lock" to support young women, women and households in difficulty due to drought and salinity, in the program of giving 150 gifts to local people.

In order to improve the effectiveness of the Association's work and the youth movement, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union has signed a cooperation agreement with Mekong International Event - Travel Company Limited for the period 2024 - 2029. The program also organized a lucky draw with many valuable gifts for local people.

At the end of the program, delegates took souvenir photos, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity between youth and border guards. "Border March" in 2025 is not only a practical activity in response to Youth Month, but also contributes to educating patriotic traditions, promoting the sense of responsibility of young people in the cause of building and defending the homeland.
