Improve knowledge of occupational safety and hygiene, fire prevention and fighting

In her opening speech, Vice President of Tien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor Ngo Thi Thuy Trang emphasized: "The training session aims to raise awareness and responsibility of all levels of Trade Unions, enterprises and workers in implementing occupational safety and health, contributing to limiting occupational accidents and protecting the legitimate rights of workers."

The training content focuses on new points of the 2024 Trade Union Law, the revised Law on Social Insurance, policies for employees with work-related accidents and occupational diseases, regulations on personal protective equipment and fire prevention and fighting.

In particular, students are instructed in first aid practice for occupational accidents to improve their skills in handling real-life situations at work.

The training program is also an important preparation step for the 25th Tien Giang Province "Labor Safety and Fire Prevention" Competition, scheduled to be held on May 6 and 7, 2025.

The training session took place seriously, helping trainees update new knowledge, contributing to improving the effectiveness of occupational safety and health implementation at units and enterprises in the province.
