(LĐ online) - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai has just signed a document to relevant departments, branches and units requesting to strengthen the removal of difficulties and obstacles in non-budgetary investment projects in the province, in which he criticized the newly established interdisciplinary inspection team for being slow in implementing assigned plans.

Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Tran Hong Thai and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Tuan inspected the construction progress of the project to upgrade and expand Hoang Van Thu Street, Ward 4, Da Lat City on the morning of April 1.

Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee criticized the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team No. 03 and the Head of the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team for the delay in implementing the inspection and review plan for non-budgetary capital projects assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 259/QD-UBND dated February 13, 2025 (to date, no project inspection has been organized).

Request the Head of the interdisciplinary inspection team and members of the inspection team to seriously learn from experience, promptly inspect assigned projects and report to the Provincial People's Committee the results on schedule; at the same time, review and clarify the responsibilities of individuals involved in the delay in performing tasks; report to the Provincial People's Committee before April 5.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the Heads of the Interdisciplinary Inspection Teams to urgently inspect and review the non-budgetary capital projects assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 259, promptly summarize the results of the project inspection, propose specific handling directions and send reports to the Department of Finance for advice to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and resolution on a weekly basis. At the same time, report to the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Finance on the results of the Inspection Team's implementation of tasks on a weekly basis (before 3:00 p.m. on Thursday) until the task is completed.

Based on the proposals of the interdisciplinary inspection teams, the Department of Finance urgently consults and proposes the Provincial People's Committee to consider and resolve difficulties and obstacles for 7-10 non-budgetary capital projects on a weekly basis (before 3:00 p.m. every Thursday). At the same time, report to the Provincial People's Committee the results of handling and resolving difficulties and obstacles of 203 slow-progressing projects in the province and propose solutions to resolve difficulties and obstacles of projects according to each group of issues, report to the Provincial People's Committee before April 5; ensure completion in April 2025 according to the direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
