The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province said that most officials, party members and people in the province have had positive changes in their awareness of law compliance, culture and behavior when participating in traffic.
According to the Traffic Safety Committee of Binh Dinh province, since the beginning of the year, the police force has detected and handled 54,792 cases of road traffic law violations, temporarily detained nearly 17,800 vehicles, temporarily revoked driving licenses of more than 8,500 cases, and imposed fines of nearly VND92 billion. However, according to him, there are still a number of cadres, civil servants, public employees, officers and soldiers who lack exemplary conduct, violate the law when participating in traffic; even have substandard behavior, do not comply with inspection and handling by functional forces, especially in checking for alcohol concentration violations.

Mr. Tuan requested the Department of Education and Training that any school that has many traffic violations by its students and does not have a solution to this problem will not be considered for emulation by that school and its principal.
He noted that the Department of Education and Training must manage student vehicles, propagate to students to understand and comply with the law when participating in traffic; provide information about students who violate the law to agencies where parents of students who violate the law are working; organize rewards for schools that do well and discipline school leaders who allow many violations to occur...
