Inside the restoration project of Thai Hoa Palace relic.
Although resources have increased significantly in recent years due to the increasing number of visitors to the relic sites, in order to restore the original Hue Monuments Complex to maximize the outstanding global value of the Hue Monuments Complex recognized by UNESCO in 1993, it is necessary to focus large resources from the central to local levels to promote the restoration process and exploit other potentials besides the intrinsic value of the works.
Pattern after restoration.
Technically, the restoration work also encountered many difficulties. Some of the works were damaged or completely destroyed, with no original architectural components or elements remaining. Therefore, the restoration encountered many difficulties in collecting documents, and many architectural details in terms of aesthetics could not be restored intact due to insufficient foundations.
Therefore, in the restoration of relics, many contributions related to images and historical documents about relic works from domestic and foreign organizations and individuals are needed to come up with appropriate and accurate restoration and restoration solutions.
The restoration of relics using traditional materials such as wood, lacquer, gold leaf, and roof tiles is affected by the typical climate of the Central region. Therefore, the technique of relic restoration always sets the task of researching and applying appropriate technical methods into practice to achieve the best results.
