The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Ha Tien City handed over the decision to hand over houses and gifts to households in Dong Ho Ward.
On March 30, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Ha Tien City held a ceremony to hand over 10 solidarity houses to poor and near-poor households in Dong Ho Ward.
The total cost of building 10 houses is 551.6 million VND; of which, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Kien Giang Province supported 470 million VND, the rest was mobilized by the Steering Committee of Dong Ho Ward; cadres, party members, and armed forces stationed in the ward supported working days.
On this occasion, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Ha Tien City and Ward presented gifts to families with a total value of over 20 million VND.
Up to now, Ha Tien City has handed over 30 solidarity houses to poor and near-poor households, achieving 100% of the plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the city.
